How the PIcArbs system works
Step 2: Sign: both lawyers and the arbitrator sign.
Step 3: Register: on the e-filing site
Step 4: Start: the Arbitration, e-file the Arbitration Agreement with a Summary of the Claim so that “Limitation” stops running.
Step 5: Plead: the case
Step 6: e-file: your evidence.
Step 7: Settle: the claim at a JSM or using Neutral Evaluation.
Agree to stay the arbitration: and use the e-filing system to exchange evidence and settle the claim at a joint settlement meeting without any pleadings.
Step 1: Propose: resolving the claim by Neutral Evaluation and send the other party the PIcArbs Neutral Evaluation Agreement.
Step 2: Sign: both lawyers sign.
Step 3: Register: on the e-filing site www.PIcArbs.co.uk/filing.
Step 4: e-file: open a case e-file and upload your evidence (fees apply).
Step 5: Either:
receive a written evaluation from the NEvaluator or choose to
Settle: the claim at a joint meeting with the Neutral Evaluator to reach settlement.
